Hormones: Free T3 & T4, Ostradiol, FSH, LH, Progesterone, Prolactin, Sex hormone Binding Globulin, Testosterone, Cortisol.
This postal test requires THREE sample tubes to be filled. This means you are likely to need to bleed at least three fingers. If you feel squeamish about this please book at the clinic for us to take a venous sample (from your arm).
The Turnaround time for the test once received at the lab is 1-2 days.
All postal kits are sent out via Royal Mail Tracked 24
Available everywhere in mainland UK.
Includes everything you need to take a safe and suitable blood sample in about 15 minutes.
Post the sample back to our laboratory via Royal Mail Tracked 24 prepaid envelope.
You must be over the age of 18 to do one of our postal tests. Please contact us if you’re under 18 and want to arrange a health check.

Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a relatively common condition that consists of features including irregular periods, difficulty conceiving, acne, hirsutism, weight gain or difficulty losing weight, and the appearance of multiple cysts on the ovaries.
Checking a number of hormone levels is key to making the diagnosis.
The PCOS blood test checks the levels of these hormones which include testosterone, luteinising hormone, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), and sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). We also test for other conditions that can mimic PCOS including thyroid dysfunction and high cortisol levels.
Because PCOS is associated with an increased risk of diabetes and high cholesterol, our PCOS blood test also checks these levels so that any problems can be identified early and managed
